In February 2021, PIRE Researchers published an article titled “Amplification of school-based strategies resulting from the application of the dynamic adaptation process to reduce sexual and gender minority youth suicide” in the journal Implementation Research and Practice. A summary of the article is provided below:

Using data drawn from the Reducing LGBTQ+ Adolescent Suicide (RLAS) study, the research team evaluated what implementation strategies from an expert compilation were utilized to implement six evidence-informed practices identified by the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention to provide safe and supportive school environments for LGBTQ+ youth and their peers. Our results illustrate how school personnel applied strategies based on the conditions and needs of their individual schools. These results contribute to knowledge about implementation strategies that schools can adopt and implement to encourage the use of evidence-informed practices to improve the well-being of LGBTQ youth and other health disparity populations.

Great application of the SISTER (School Implementation Strategies, Translating ERIC Resources) compilation, developed by #ClayCook & @Aaron_Lyon at @SMARTCtr.
