I have worked as an evaluator for 20 years, focusing on culturally responsive practices and communities of color. I engage in the implementation of qualitative and quantitative research methodologies and conducts data analysis. I have performed multiple needs assessments of health concerns and priorities for immigrant communities. As a Research Analyst in an Institutional Research office, I provided accurate and reliable data, enhanced insights via analytics, developed and administered institution-wide surveys and robust reporting in support of planning, policy making and operational effectiveness. As part of the Pacific Institute for Research and Evaluation team, my work focuses on the gathering and analysis of data around underage drinking, opioid use, and the statewide infrastructure supporting SUD paraprofessionals.
