(ABC Prevent) PIRE is supporting the Health Equity Council (formerly the Bernalillo County Community Health Council) to prevent underage drinking and prescription opioid use through this project called “ABC Prevent”(Albuquerque, Bernalillo County -Prevent). PIRE 1) provides Guided Technical Assistance on coalition-driven evidence-based prevention and the Strategic Planning Framework; 2) develops and maintains evaluation plans and protocols; 3) analyzes and reports data; 4) provides evaluation and implementation guidance; 5) conducts database management; and 6) writes and presents evaluation reports. This initiative is funded by SAMHSA (Substance Abuse and Mental Health Services Administration) under the PFS 19 (Partnerships for Success 2019) award H79SP081613 to PIRE.
